Interview :
• GEFCO’s inbound offering
GEFCO’s inbound offering relates to flows between suppliers and production sites. It comprises GEFCO’s multi-business, transport and logistics solutions. GEFCO aims to control the customer’s transport plan while optimising solutions.
• Controlling the inbound transport plan
In order to control the inbound transport plan, we must control all flows. This means the manufacturer must be able to buy its parts ex-works from suppliers, and we have every means at our disposal to optimise the transport plan: we can adjust frequencies, transit times and storage points, in other words all parameters for optimisation.
